Add a Payment Method

Subscriptions only auto-renew if there's a payment method on file. Add one before your first renewal to avoid service interruption.

Steps

1. From the dashboard, click Add Method under Add a payment method.
2. Choose a method — debit card (charged via Paystack) or Mercurie wallet (top up in NGN, balance is debited at renewal).
3. For cards, complete the ₦50 verification charge. The amount is reversed immediately once verification succeeds.
4. Set the new method as default if you want it used for future renewals.

What we charge it for

• Recurring renewals for any active subscription on the auto-renew schedule.
• Top-ups to your Mercurie wallet, if you've enabled wallet auto-fund.
• One-off purchases when you check out without selecting a saved method.

Replacing or removing a card

If you replace a card, the old one is retired but kept on the account for history. Outstanding charges still in flight will fall back to the new default — no manual reconciliation needed.
